*PTOO* same goes for sport games...xcept those by Midway, cuz at least Midway throws in a ton of goofy-ass shit to make sports, interesting *Xcept basketball, which is good no matter how*, like shitass baseball, or lame tennis. BLAH
Now, if you play and master, games like Gradius V, Gran Turismo 1-4, 2D fighters, Tekken etc. Then yeah yer a gamer.
Play games that challenge your eye-hand coordination, games that test your reaction and timing skills, games that are not just about you pressing a few stupid buttons in order to access the Magic and Skill menu to select an attack :/. Sure, sport games are kinda the same, in the way that they also require a degree of skill, but dude, you can do that IRL and get better results
I dunno, i'm pissed at ppl who say they play games, but all they play is RPGs. Which doesn't constitute what gaming is. SHAME ON THEM >o<

I kinda agree, I know so many people that play games and call themselves gamers, but I just school them at everything. Maybe its not so much of a good thing though?...NAH! True gaming rocks! *continues playing KOF: Max Impact*
But...in defense of RPGs, FF Tactics (and Tactics Advance) should get credit. Takes more thinking before you hit any menu buttons.

Ninja gaiden (xbox) on very hard, Ikaruga on any difficulty, mastering marvel vs capcom... these are the real games.
